Call of the Wind
The wind has a song heard only by a few,
Melodic, sweet, and airy in tune.
It floats over the tallest of trees,
Soars higher than the greatest moutain peak.
An everlasting melody, flowing through time,
Telling of nature's magnificent gifts to its listeners.
Spinning wondrous, magical tales, Delighting both young and old.
Twirling about, in an invisible ballet,
Briefly encircling its audience for an encore.
Then rising towards the fluffy clouds it soars,
Sharing its whispering melody with the heavens above.

Seasons Come Seasons Go
Fall enters as a breeze chills the air,
Bright colored leaves give trees a glorious flair!
Mums in shades of yellow and red,
Birds in flocks flying overhead.
Caramel apples such a delicious treat!
Enjoying the breeze from my porch seat.
Bright orange pumpkins being sold at stores,
To be bought, carved, and placed beside doors.
Apples growing on trees, used in pies,
The return of fall is a feast for the eyes!

Favorite Fall Things!
Fall is my favorite season without a doubt! The leaves on the trees turn various shades of yellow, red, and orange. The bright yellow school buses can be seen (and heard) throughout the neighborhood as children head back for another year of school. Finally one of my favorite fall things? Gooey caramel apples covered with peanuts! There are many wonderful things to celebrate about fall. What is your favorite thing about fall?
